Join us for the 13th annual 5k Turkey Trot & Gobble Gallop on Thanksgiving Morning
THURSDAY, November 23rd, 2017
The Junior Woman's Club of Mequon-Thiensville "Turkey Trot & Gobble Gallop" is our primary annual fundraiser. The event is held on Thanksgiving morning and has over 1,500 participants. The morning's events include a 5K Run/Walk through the scenic Village of Thiensville, as well as a 50 meter dash for children ten and younger at the Thiensville Village Park.
Event Details & Schedule
EARLY PACKET PICK-UP: Pick-up your race bag at Village Park the day before the race – Wed, Nov.23rd, between noon & 4pm
PLEASE REMEMBER: We will be collecting non-perishable food donations for Family Sharing, as well as collecting new unwrapped toys on behalf of the Thiensville Police Department for Toys for Tots. Please remember to bring your donations. Bins for the donations will be located near the packet pick-up location in Village Park. Donations will be accepted on both Wednesday and Thursday. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TREMENDOUS 2015 DONATIONS – ADDITIONAL BINS WILL BE AVAILABLE THIS YEAR!!
FREE – 50 Meter Gobble Gallop: Kids 12 & younger may participate in the FREE 50 Meter Gobble Gallop at 10am!
PERKS: Pre-registered participants receive the 2016 Turkey Trot T-shirt, race bag with coupons donated by our generous sponsors & yummy complimentary refreshments (while supplies last!). Day-of registrants receive these perks while supplies last.
AWARDS: Awards are being generously donated by glaze. Awards will start at 10:15am.
RESTRICTIONS: For everyone’s safety, please no earphones on the race course. Strollers – Welcome!
